Schedule

Holiday Savage Run – 1st Annual Event
Sunday, December 18, 2022 – 6 am – Lake Eola
I want to make this event a fun bad ass event! Please bring your favorite Tri Club shirt and enjoy the 6 laps challenge. Make sure to bring a gel, electrolytes and water!

CFL Tri Club Holiday Party – Dec 18, 2022 – 5:00 pm
e to show off your culinary streak by whipping up some family delicacy, or something holiday themed. It’s a laid back contest where everyone is the judge.
There will be three categories of prizes –
- Most Creative/Best Holiday Theme
- Best Tasting Food or Drink
- Best Tasting Dessert
We have hosted this party in the past, and had some great entries, like “Dasher’s Disaster”, meatloaf shaped like a reindeer that had been run over by a Jeep, or “Whoa, Whoa, WHOA!”, a complete gingerbread house with Santa and his reindeer piled up on the front lawn.
You are not required to bring a homemade dish, and don’t worry, if you just want to bring something store bought; that’s fine too.
For you competitors, here are a few hints –
- Make your dish easy to eat. Finger foods works well, or something that is easy to divide up.
- Make enough food, but smaller portions, I’m sure there will be a lot to eat.
- Bring what you need to serve your food, and serving utensils.
- This is one party where arriving early is preferable. Food should be presented and ready to eat at 5:30, as judging will commence at that time.
- Seconds and thirds are encouraged, especially when trying to decide on who to vote for but let everyone get a taste…no fair trying to eat all of the competition.
Here is a hint for the more competitive in the bunch: Making it “showy” with a cute name – it tends to influence the judges. 🙂
There will be trivia awards too!!!
Ironman Cozumel Schedule

Hello Team,
Enclosed you will find the schedule for this week for those who are racing Cozumel. Please review below. In addition, I am adding the Ironman Gear Bag Check List. If you have AT&T, you won’t have trouble using your phones down there. You all have my number. I will have my Graston Tool and Kinesiology Tape with me if you have any issues. I will be staying at Casa Mexicana.
Race Day Weather Conditions
It looks like that the day will start at 73 – 75 degrees when we start the bike with the winds of 7.87 mph. The temperature will rise at 85 degrees by 12n with the winds picking up at 12 mph.
Rain:
The Wind God won’t go lightly on us. It looks like it is going to rain from 8 am to 1 pm. Then it will start again from 5 pm – 7 pm. Make sure to pump your tires to 100 – 110 psi.
Expected the unexpected to occur, so if the unexpected happens, you know exactly what you need to do.

ID Triathlon Team Florida – We need your help!
My name is Hector Torres. I am the Head Coach with Tri Peak Athlete and the Central Florida Tri Club. Since 2018, I have been working with Intellectual Disable Athletes on developing them into the Triathlon sport within Florida. Since we have began, it has grown tremendously! The program started with four athletes and now we have 16 athletes. Our goal is to have at least 40 athletes on the starting line on the USA Games in 2022 held here in Orlando, FL. From these games, we will select the team that will represent us at the 2023 games in Berlin, Germany!
Chris Nikic, was one of the first group. One of his greatest accomplishments was completing Ironman Florida. #anythingispossible
With small steps we are changing the world and allowing the athletes with Intellectual Disabilities to be included in every sport! #inclusion
We know that the triathlon sport is very expensive; therefore, I need your help! I am collecting wetsuits, bikes, bike trainers and sneakers for these athletes. If you will like to donate and help this cause, I will greatly appreciate it!
You can donate them at:
Tri Peak Athelte
617 Virginia Dr.
Orlando, FL 32803
Help me, help these athletes make a difference!
If you will like to donate wetsuits, bikes, or bike trainers. Please reach out to me.
