Saturday Race and Tips
I can’t wait to see you all race on Saturday. Please follow the schedule we sent via TrainingPeaks or Via Email. There is nothing you can do this week that will make you faster for race day. You are ready to race! This week just focus on maintenance and resting. Don’t over do it.
Go to bed early the night before!
Please arrive around 5:30 am on Saturday. Before leaving the house make sure you have breakfast. Recommendation:
Pre Race Meal:
– 1 cup of cooked oatmeal
– 1 banana
– 1 tbsp of almond butter or peanut butter
Make sure you are hydrating with water and electrolytes. I encourage you to take a serving of BCAA (XTEND amino acids) before 7 am.
You should be out of transition by 6:30 am. We will meet at the swim start at 6:45 am. This goes for the Unified partners as well. We will do a short warm up and ready to rock and roll for the race to start.
