Fine Wine for a Fine Cause

3rd Annual – Fine Wine for a Fine Cause

Tico’s Hideaway

March 15, 2018 @ 6:30 pm

We are truly in awe at how much all of you have enjoyed this event.  We’ve now made it to the 3rd year and have raised over $33,000 total for the American Diabetes Association.  Because of the support of friends like you, we are making a difference.

Just about everyone of us knows someone touched by the disease of diabetes.  For us, it’s our 15 year old son, which makes our mission to raise awareness about this disease and to support such a quality organization as the ADA, paramount for us.  Most of you know Luke’s story and how he doesn’t let diabetes define him, and a Youth Triathlon National Championship is proof of that.  We want all kids and adults living with this disease to know that anything is possible and life doesn’t stop just because you have diabetes.

SO LET’S DO THIS AGAIN!  And besides, who doesn’t like really good wine paired with the perfect foods in an “industrial chic” atmosphere surrounded by great friends and supporting a great cause.
It is our distinct please this year to have a very special guest, Noah Barnes and his family.  Noah, an 11-year old boy with Type 1 Diabetes, set a world record on December 9, 2017 for being the youngest person to cross America by foot.  Noah marched 4,240 miles across America, starting in Key West, FL and ending in Blaine, WA (at the US-Canada border) to raise funds and awareness to CURE Type 1 Diabetes. At the event, you will hear his story, and also what his Dad decided to do once they reached the end of their march across America. You won’t believe it!  Noah has a website and you can read more about him at noahsmarchfoundation.org.

As in the past two years, we are hosting the wine tasting event at Tico Perez’s wine warehouse (Tico’s Hideaway), on March 15, 2018 @ 6:30 PM.  The event has a small ticket price of $50 per person.
Location: 2421 Silver Meteor Drive, Orlando, FL 32804
Pay Online: http://main.diabetes.org/goto/lr   or you can send a check to
c/o The Keewin Real Property Group Company , 121 Garfield Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789 (make checks payable to American Diabetes Association)

We sincerely hope you will join us for this special event, and all of the proceeds will go to the American Diabetes Association.

They’ll want to set this up so they can jump on our brand new 2018 models when they arrive in a few weeks – we’ll be getting a limited run in late February, and the first batch will sell out!

Here’s how to activate:

  1. Create an account at ROKA.com.

That’s it! You just have to do this once, and your team pricing pricing will appear in your shopping cart at checkout any time you’re logged in.

And for extra motivation, we’re running a clearance special for ROKA Teams for 50% off all 2017 Maverick Wetsuits, Viper Swimskins, SIM Shorts, and Gen I Tri Race Apparel. Sizes are limited, but if we still have your size you can get a great deal.
